Unichem Labs profit dips by 3%, declares 60% interim dividend

Unichem Laboratories, a Mumbai based pharma company, has reported a marginal dip in net profit for the quarter ended September 2009. During the quarter, the company’s profit declined by 3.10 per cent to Rs 33.97 crore compared to the same period of last year. 

The total income declined to Rs 174.65 crore for the quarter under preview against Rs 176.71 crore in the corresponding period of last fiscal, a company release said.

The board of directors of the company have recommended an interim divided of 60 per cent for the current financial year ending March 2010.
