DHL to set up Life Science Competence Centres in India, Singapore

DHL, the major logistics company based in Germany, has announced setting up of two Life Science Competence Centres in India - in Mumbai and Hyderabad - and one in Singapore to offer quality complied, temperature controlled pharma logistics services with a total investment of US$ 15 million.

The two competence centres in Mumbai, to be operational in next 12 months, are established with an investment of US$ 5 million each to offer improved temperature controlled handling and storage, greater product transparency and visibility and complete end-to-end logistics capabilities. The centres in Asia will also facilitate a core team of industry professionals who will develop solutions for customers to better manage their international supply chains as per the regulation of the destination country, announced the company.
